Trydel started producing its first puncture sealants back in 1991. As a manufacturer with roots going back to the late 1950s we are committment to providing a range of effective, simple to use and convenient solutions while designing products and formulations that reduce environmental footprint wherever possible.Trydel was the first to supply non-latex sealant installed as a standard fitment into OE vehicles including Mercedes-Benz, Daimler Chrysler, General Motors and more. In addition to the automotive industry, we market our brands and contract manufacture for the aftermarket industry including passenger vehicles, off-road vehicles, bikes, trucks, buses, industrial and agricultural vehicles. Our test disk simulator has been shown at numerous trade events around the world including Automechanica, Sema and Paris.

HISTORY

Research and development has been the foundation of Trydel’s leadership in creating tyre sealant products used around the globe. Milestones in product development and distribution include:

1991 Commenced R&D of non-latex, particle-based valve-out (VO) sealant.

1992 Created a test drum simulator.

1995 Created test disk simulator.

2000 Engineered the world’s first in-tyre camera vision.

2003 Discovered the cause of scuff marks on wheel rims and formulated Bal-Tec.

2005 Applied for international patents for delivery system simulator.

2006 GM Opal (EU) requested a non-latex VT sealant supplied the world’s first non-latex VO sealant to
          Daimler Chrysler (Sprinter) and Volkswagen (Crafter) vans.

 2007 Applied for VT sealant international patents MAN Trucks EU distribution VO sealant.

2008 Started supplying Opal EU Wabco EU became a major customer of 1.3 litre VO.

2009 Applied for international patents for new delivery system.

2010 GM DAT (Korea) orders VT sealant for Cruze, its global platform car.

2012 General Motors Holden orders VT sealant for the Holden Cruze.

2013 Commenced manufacture of latest patented sealant innovation.

2015 Design new compressor kit with sealant installed.

2017 Private label manufacturing to third party suppliers and trade mark Up&Go in numerous countries around the world.

2018 Launch new Up&Go industrial and agricultural
